Twitter Anyone?

I have resisted Facebook and continue to do so.  However, I’m intrigued by Twitter.  If you’re not on it, don’t let me influence you.  If you are, I’d be interested to know how you find it as a preacher/pastor – benefits, time wasting, etc.  For those who twitter, if you’d like to “follow” – twitter.com/PeterMead

  1. Hi Peter,

I have just began on Twitter and am now following your updates.

I stumbled upon Twitter through a friend who runs his own business as a blogolgist. http://www.alistercameron.com

I like it. It is way less work than Facebook, which I like for my wife but not for me – I’ll just look over her shoulder. It is amazing if you are traveling overseas, like we did late last year. You could post your movements with photos and didn’t have to explain everything to people when you got back.

What I like about Twitter is the small update links to various websites or blogs. It also is keeping me up to date with technology and what is happening in the church through guys like Driscoll, Stetzer and Thomas (Acts 29).

I will follow more people who in my opinion help to inform me of things that interest me and the people I lead.

    Thanks for your blog.
