		<description><![CDATA[I appreciate this point.  I think that too often we skim over the  emotions of the story and just focus on the facts.  I seriously doubt that Joseph was fine and dandy with a betrothed who was pregnant.  Just imagining what that would be like ties my guts in knots.

It really helps me to see the people in the bible as real, emotional, flawed people.  Not completely evil nor completely good, but trying to live like we are trying to live.

Some of the new movies about the Christmas story have a pretty good take on this - they might be helpful to show.]]></description>

Much preaching I have done in the past and currently hear puts much emphasis on the &quot;negative&quot; of a character &amp; how that relates to the listener. As proclaimers to God&#039;s people, we should recognize the positive as much as the negative, and proclaim it with a smile on our face &amp; edification in our heart.]]></description>
