Exactly the kind of blog I’ve been looking for and those thoughts on Stowell’s message hit me right between the eyes. I think I’ve been doing the later (trying to be a “great preacher,”) for years. Looks like my ladder was leaning on the wrong building. Awesome to know I can regroup and spend my prep time trying to be an effective preacher.
